Today, at the Auchi Day celebrations and the official launch of the biography of the Otaru of Auchi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe of Auchi Kingdom, the Honourable Member representing Etsako Federal Constituency, Hon. Anamero Dekeri, heartily felicitated with the good people of Auchi Kingdom.
Hon. Dekeri described Auchi Day as having evolved into a vibrant carnival that promotes tourism, entertainment, unity, and cultural pride. He commended the people of Auchi for their resilience, industrious spirit, peaceful coexistence, and accommodating nature—qualities that continue to drive the growth and harmony of the kingdom.
He paid glowing tribute to the Otaru of Auchi, describing him as a father to all, whose leadership has been marked by unwavering support, wisdom, and inclusiveness. Hon. Dekeri noted that his presence at the event was to appreciate the monarch and publicly identify with his exemplary leadership and fatherly role.
The Honourable Member urged leaders at all levels to emulate the Otaru’s leadership style, anchored on openness, hospitality, transparency, sincerity, and inclusiveness.
He also commended the biography of the Otaru of Auchi as a remarkable and instructive work, rich in history, wisdom, and leadership lessons, and encouraged all within and beyond the region to read it.
Hon. Dekeri expressed optimism that having more leaders with such exemplary qualities would bring renewed hope, enhanced transparency, and accelerated infrastructural development to Edo State and Nigeria as a whole.
